A 100 mg intramuscular dosage of Deca Durabolin reaches a mean Cmax 4.26 ng/mL, with a mean Tmax of 30 hours, and a mean AUC of around 862 h*ng/mL. A 150 mg intramuscular dosage of nandrolone decanoate reaches a mean Cmax 5.16 ng/mL, with a mean Tmax of approximately 72 hours, and a mean AUC of 1261 h*ng/mL.
Pharmacology
Pharmacodynamics (What does it do to your body)
Deca Durabolin is a prodrug (improves how the drug is absorbed) of nandrolone or is a nandrolone ester. As mentioned before, it is an androgenic and anabolic steroid or an agonist of AR, a biological target for androgens like testosterone and DHT. When compared to testosterone, nandrolone decanoate has enhanced several anabolic effects, while minimizing androgenic effects. Method of Elimination
Deca Durabolin is commonly eliminated in the form of metabolites through urine. However, data regarding its elimination through faeces is not readily available. Through studies made by observing cattle, it is found that around 30% of nandrolone is eliminated through faeces.
Half-life
Deca Durabolin is observed to have an absorption half-life of around 6 days and an elimination half-life of around 4.3 hours. Further studies have denoted that Deca Durabolin has a terminal half-life of about 7.1, 11.7 and 11.8 hours for the doses of 50 mg, 100 mg and 150 mg respectively.
